Our Story
Crafted by hand,
preserved with care
Wendy Windowsill began as a quiet passion — a love of the natural world and the belief that something as delicate as a butterfly deserves to be honored, not rushed. Every specimen is carefully selected for its color, symmetry, and character before being preserved and set behind glass in a frame chosen for its craftsmanship.
Our shop in Galena, Missouri, is a place where visitors can browse arrangements of all sizes — from petite frames perfect for a windowsill to substantial gallery pieces that become the focal point of a room. We believe that fine art should feel personal, approachable, and alive.
Whether you are searching for a meaningful gift or a piece that speaks to your own sense of beauty, each butterfly in our collection carries a story worth displaying.
